The EEG results came back negative for any signs of seizure at all.  Matt’s brain is very active with some slow reaction in the right lobe which is to be expected.  That’s good news for all that’s happening from here on out.

The biggest change physically in the past three weeks is Matt’s sensitivity in his left leg and the volitional raising and lowering of his left leg with just a tickle at the bottom of his foot.  In three weeks we went from having to really bear down on the bottom of his foot to get him to pick his leg up to now just a slight brush on the inside of his arch and he pulls his knee all the way up and when Lisa persists, Matt gets pissed and pushes her away with his right leg.   We have to remind him how much better he’s gotten in just the past couple of weeks and it’s because of the persistence that he’s able to feel and do what he’s doing.  He just looks and kind of smiles and all the attitude changes when we tell him we’re done.  He gets it.

Lately there are about 4 or 5 different new things and people that are soon to get involved with Matt.  New doctors, new treatments, new therapies, new equipment, new drugs.  All because Matt is improving in so many areas and in huge ways.  Just the left leg thing in the past three weeks has been an amazing thing to witness.  I walk into Matt’s gym room and am blown away by what Lisa is getting Matt to do from one week to the next.  Lisa’s really gotten him dialed in.

I will update in the next few weeks as things continue to change.
