Sorry I haven’t been back to update in a couple of months.  Life has gotten crazy busy and much more stressful over the past months.  Matt’s still doing all his work, lot’s of therapy at all the same places although we’ve had more people become interested and involved with Matt over the past months.  Lisa and I are working on getting Matt into some new therapy programs that should now be available to him but it’s a process.  These options may involve more travel up to the LA area so we have been working on the logistics as well as jumping through hoops and setting up evaluations and time schedules.  It is time comsuming but we’ll get there. 

I had to take on a full time job along with maintaining my business to keep up with expenses.  That happened about 5 weeks ago and has me overwhelmed lately.  Lisa has also become overwhelmed with all she has to take on without my help.  Finances had become more than we could keep up with so we’re now working ourselves through this and also seriously changing things like most of the rest of the world out there. 

Matt has been introduced to some new therapy approaches with generally positive effects.  He is more active and in tune than he has ever been since we have had him home which gives us more and more options to keep this process moving forward.  He participates in more activities now than we can manage in 1 day.  If we were to have him do all the activities and exercises he is involved in now in a sequence, we could probably keep him busy without repeating any one activity for 2 - 3 days.  That’s the positive challenge now and like I said, Lisa is overwhelmed.  We thought we were going to get more outside help by the time I went back to work but it hasn’t worked out that way.  Matt had a check up with a new primary care doctor and all Matt’s tests and labs came back spot on.  The doctors comment was that Matthew is very healthy and that Lisa is doing a great job.  Brittney’s been well.  She’s had a career opportunity come up and we are all hoping and praying that works out for her as well.
